So, my oldest toon, and my “main” is my level 70 feral Druid, Flaime. When I go raiding, this is usually the character I do it on. For a while, I kind of plateaued on Flaime’s gear. I just wasn’t getting anything better. Part of this is that I just hate pugs. I have a low frustration tolerance, when it comes to people acting stupidly, and most pugs are just that.

Recently, however, I made the final push and got to exalted with Cenarion Expidition. This has led to me to rexamine my goals with Flaime. So, off the top of my head, here are some of my new goals for Flaime:

1) Upgrade my gear enough to tank Zul Aman. My primary obstacle here is that I don’t have much access to 25-man raids. My guild, much as I am fond of them, doesn’t have enough active 70s to really do them, and I don’t have the contacts with other guilds on Earthen Ring to get into them. I’m hoping to do some of this through a combination of Arena and Heroic Badge gear.

2) Start running heroics regularly with the guild. The only obstacle here is getting the heroic I would like to do scheduled before someone else schedules one…Cause you only need one tank in a Heroic and on off nights, we don’t have enough people playing their 70s to do 2 Heroics. No big deal, but I would like to run them a little more often. I’m going to need several hundred badges over the next several months.

3) I need to figure out what faction rewards will do the most good and how far I need to go for them. I’m at least honored with every faction in Outlands, revered with a couple, and exalted with Ogri’la and Cenarion Expedition. I know I want to get to Revered with Sha’taar but I don’t know what else.

These are somewhat nebulous goals and I will refine them over time, but I’m just starting to write them down.

I do know that one of the first things I want to do is get back to the arena to get my 1875 points and pick up my Vengeful Gladiator’s Dragonhide Helm . Unless I somehow manage to get Stag-Helm of Malorne this weekend. But I”m not holding my breath. I haven’t seen the tokens for the Druid T4 gear drop at all in Kara, when I have been there:(.
