Why do you still play?
Lately, a lot of players have been leaving the game, many of them bloggers. Now, I recognize that there is a cycle where hardcore players in high end guilds will finish all the content available to them and just be burned out (one of the many reasons I have never been interested in joining a “hardcore” raiding guild). There is another group that have been leaving though…people who are just fed up with the people they have to put up with when playing.
I’ve realized that while I’m still playing, I’m just biding my time until the next xpac comes out. I don’t really have the connections to do 25-mans and my guild doesn’t have the people. And I’m not looking to leave my guild, so I’ll just keep on with Kara (which I like well enough) and leveling alts. If Wrath of the Lich King doesn’t hit until November, I should have between 4 and 6 70s. Which will make it interesting to see whom I choose to push to 80 first, and who I will do the Death Knight quests on…
