Fishing for gold…
I’ll admit it; I used to think fishing was a waste of a secondary skill slot. I still don’t love fishing. It’s mildly boring so I can only stand to do it when I’m doing other things but want to be on WoW as well, other than for the daily fishing quest. And there are still a lot of things you get fishing that I wish I could skip. And the quest to get 225 fishing is a pain in the hiney.
But I have now decided that you should level fishing to 375 on at least 1 character. For every good piece of buff food you can get from hunting, there is also at least 1 from fishing. In fact, the two best stam buffs come from fishing only foods. Also, you get a huge number of buff scrolls from fishing. And finally, one of the coolest pets in the can only be obtained through fishing.
And if you are a hunter and haven’t leveled fishing…shame on you. The easiest way in the game to feed your pet and level cooking for buff food and you haven’t done it yet. It only takes about 10 minutes a day for maybe 2 weeks. Get cracking!
