Busy week
It’s been a busy week. I’ve been meaning to write a post and just seem to run out of time each day.
So, what has everyone been doing? Well, I don’t know, but I have been playing a lot. Flaime went to clear Kara. I don’t get anything from “night 1″ which is usually our run to the Curator. Anything I wanted from those bosses I’ve either had for a long time or I’ve upgraded beyond (except for Moroe’s Lucky Pocket Watch, which I haven’t seen in what amounts to probably well over 65 kills of Moroes, just like most of the rogues in my guild have never seen the Drape of the Dark Reavers). On “night 2,” we not only finished everything off, but we one-shot everything…which is a first. Usually the Prince is our nightmare due to bad infernal drops. So, the Prince goes down and the only thing I still actually need from Kara drops - the badge for the Stag-helm of Malorne (two piece bonus is yummy). Now, I’ve probably been in on 20 or so Prince kills. Never seen the druid token drops…unfortunately, I didn’t win (Grats Sailee!). So I wound up with the consolation prize of the night: Terrestian’s Stranglestaff. It’s certainly an upgrade for my cat set, which always helps. But I would be lying if I didn’t admit that I was a little sad that there was no new tanking helm.
In other news, I took Anyette to heroic Mech and was surprised to find how easy it was (we had a wipe at the boss with the flame minions, but I’ve never been to Mech when that didn’t happen). She didn’t really win anything, but 6 badges and some experience is nothing to sneeze at!
The rest of my game time has been taken up with some rather mundane tasks…gathering herbs and ore, stocking up for later. I have to say, I’m really looking forward to patch 2.4.3 when they have green gems start dropping for mining again. They gave jewelcrafters a way to use them and then devestated our supply of green gems.
I’ve also been doing a little side experiment…level 19 WSG on my Blood Elf hunter. Mostly because I want to see what it was like. It can be quite fun, when you are evenly matched and everyone is trying to fight for that cap. It really sucks when you run up against a super twinked out group that just wants to farm HKs, it’s not only not fun. Oh well. I’ll see how things go as I start seeing more honor accumulate. Thought it will take a hell of a long time to get 8K honor at 1 honor per kill.
