I’ve been kind of using Anyette as my primary PvP character. I do Arenas on Flaime and Chingching for variety, but I’ve been concentrating my PvP time on Anyette. And I have to say, I’m not very good.:/

True, part of my suckitude is lack of resilience. It’s about 74, I think. But most of it is that I just don’t have PvP instincts…I’m terrible (really terrible) at mouse movement…I can never remember my hot keys and I simply can’t get the targets I want without clicking on them. And, in truth, none of this is unexpected. The frustrating part is that no matter how hard I try, I don’t seem to get much better.

Now, part of that is probably that I don’t PvP tons and tons. Anyette is 1 character and I primarily play her 1 night a week. I farm and raid on Flaime and Chingching. I spend time leveling Grobber and Janeholy. I do play 19 WSG on Nelthisera (belf hunter on Malgannis) once or so a week, but 19 WSG (which I’m fairly good at) is a totally different environment and hunters have a distinct advantage there, in my limited experience.

Anyway, I tallied up my BG record on Anyette since hitting 70:

• Alterac Valley: 9-3 - Alliance is pretty good at AV in my battlegroup and we usually don’t have huge problems unless our side decides they want to turtle, then we lose.
• Arathi Basin: 2-3 - I hate Arathi Basin. Nobody seems able to think there and we usually get 5 capped because Alliance has to let stupid people to queue…I mean how smart is it to leave an undergeared lock as the only person defending the stables????
• Eye of the Storm: 7-14 - I really don’t know how I’ve won 7 of these things…EOTS seems to be the favored HK farm for hard in this battlegroup and we are often 4 capped and stuck up on the starting area.

• Warsong Gulch : 3-23 - Another experience in pain…people don’t pay attention, people don’t support the flag carrier, people don’t try to get the flag back. They’re there for the quick mark and they get really upset if it takes them more than 10 minutes to lose:(.

The thing is, I really like everything but Arathi Basin when I luck into a good group. (It happens more on Flaime in WSG than on Anyette, obviously…I think the gear thing has something do to with that). WSG is a blast when it’s a real fight, people returning flags, and such. EOTS can be fun too, when people want to do more than lose. AV is more fun when it’s not just a race to the general, but it’s okay for honor, at least. I just wish more people cared about trying in BGs, without them being set to a level that the casual PvPer can’t partake.
