<description>Oh, I think it can be a good change. Sure, we won't have 'ZOMG THREAT' nearly right away just for being a bear, but it will help encourage players to maybe learn to play their class better. Along with that, however, we're getting a buff / incentive to start using Maul as well:

"Mangle (Feral): Now increases the damage done by Maul in addition to Shred."

Which will encourage those who don't Maul to use it more. For me, I use Maul every opportunity I get when I don't have my Mangle cooldown up and I don't need to refresh my Lacerate stack. It's a good source of DPS as a bear, and as we bears know, DPS means more aggro.

The changes to the ways threat generation is just trying to make us more of a DPS tank (remember back in the good ol' days when we'd do 'ZOMG DAMAGE' and hear yells of "NERF DRUIDS" because, even as feral tanks, we rated high-ish on the DPS meters? Looks like those days are coming back to us.)

I'm not one to complain about that. It'll be an interesting change to see how it plays out, that much is for sure.

[ However, if you ask me about Hunter BM talents... well. I have quite a mouthful concerning that. ]

Oh, and one last note: take a look at the newest WI post, the part concerning threat generation:
