Yeah, yeah, yeah…

I’ve been playing instead of blogging. I’m often guilty of that.

Though, of late, the play experience has been less than wonderful. The culprit? LAAAAAAAAAAAAAG. Just like the rest of you, I have been facing significant lag when trying to play. Saturday night, we were storming through Kara (AOEing everything, so, of course, when we get to WOTLK, noone will know how to play again).  We were wiped by an unfortunate pull before the Prince (I don’t care how much it has been nerfed, if you pull a greater fleshbeast without having someone tank him, and without telling anyone else, while the rest of the party is fighting another greater fleshbeast, the second fleshbeast will eat your group from behind) and spent the next hour trying to zone back in to Kara. At which point we all decided to call it a night and log.

Sunday was  a day of 40 second lag from click to action. I’m not exagerating, I timed it. 40 seconds. My latency was like 160something, but it took 40 seconds for the server to respond to commands…and all raid instances were down, so we couldn’t see if things were better inside Kara:P.

Last night was, at times, better, and, at times, just as bad. I spent a goodly amount of time leveling Inscription on my priest. I’ll have to actually level my priest before I can level inscription any further as she’s only 43 right now. But it would sometimes take 40 or more seconds once I clicked create before anything was actually created. On the other hand, I didn’t have massive problems when trying to fight mobs. It makes little sense.
